Terms of Service

Effective date: 7 May 2026

Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using Luma PCOS Tracker(“Luma”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By accessing or using the app you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Acceptance by sign-in.When you tap “Continue with Google”, “Continue with Apple”, “Continue with Facebook”, “Sign in”, “Create account”, or “Send magic link”, you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. We record the version, timestamp, and method of acceptance for our records.

Not a medical device. Luma PCOS Tracker is a personal wellness and health-tracking tool. It does not diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure any condition. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. In a medical emergency, call your local emergency services immediately.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital age of consent in your country) to use Luma PCOS Tracker. Users aged 13–17 should use the app with parental or guardian oversight. If you are using the app on behalf of another person, you confirm you have the authority to accept these Terms on their behalf.

2. Licence to use

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use Luma PCOS Tracker for your personal, non-commercial health tracking purposes.

You may not: (a) copy, modify, or create derivative works of the app or its content; (b) reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code except as permitted by applicable law; (c) sell, sublicence, rent, or otherwise transfer your rights; (d) use the app for any commercial, clinical, or research purpose without our prior written consent.

3. Not a medical device. important limitations

Luma PCOS Tracker is a personal tracking and appointment-preparation tool. It is expressly not:

  • A regulated medical device under FDA, CE/MDR, MHRA, or equivalent regulations.
  • A diagnostic service. it does not diagnose PCOS, endometriosis, or any other condition.
  • A treatment platform. it does not prescribe medication or clinical interventions.
  • An emergency service. do not use it during or to manage a medical emergency.
  • A substitute for a qualified clinician. always consult a doctor or registered health professional.

Lab interpretation in Luma is for informational and pattern-tracking purposes only, using the lab's own printed reference ranges. It does not constitute a clinical opinion.

4. Your content and data

You retain ownership of all health data, journal entries, and other content you enter into Luma PCOS Tracker. By using optional cloud sync, you grant us a limited licence to store and process that data solely to provide the sync service to you.

You are responsible for the accuracy of data you enter and for the security of your devices. We are not responsible for loss of local data caused by browser clearing, device reset, or uninstallation.

You must not upload content that: (a) infringes any third-party intellectual property rights; (b) contains malware or harmful code; (c) is unlawful or violates the rights of others.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Luma PCOS Tracker to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service or other users' accounts.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the security or integrity of the service.
  • Use the service for any purpose other than personal health tracking.
  • Scrape, harvest, or systematically extract data from the service.
  • Impersonate another person or create a false identity.

6. Privacy

Your use of Luma PCOS Tracker is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please read it carefully. By using the app you agree to the collection and use of information as described in that policy.

7. Intellectual property

All intellectual property rights in Luma PCOS Tracker, including its design, code, content, trademarks, and branding, are owned by or licensed to us. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right, title, or interest in our intellectual property beyond the limited use licence in Section 2.

8. Third-party services

Luma PCOS Trackeruses Supabase for optional authentication and cloud storage, and Vercel for hosting. If you choose to sign in with Google, Apple, or Facebook, you also agree to those identity providers' terms when you authenticate. Email/password authentication is handled by Supabase. Each of these third-party services is subject to its own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy:

We are not responsible for the practices of third-party service providers. Links to external sites are provided for convenience only and do not constitute endorsement.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

Luma PCOS Trackeris provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that: (a) the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure; (b) results obtained from use of the service will be accurate or reliable; (c) OCR-extracted lab values will be complete or error-free. You are responsible for verifying any data extracted from your lab reports against the original documents.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we and our officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of Luma PCOS Tracker, including but not limited to: loss of data, health outcomes arising from reliance on app content, or loss of profits.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) £100 / $100 USD / equivalent.

Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, so the above may not apply to you in full. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (e.g., for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence).

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Luma PCOS Tracker and its operators from any claim, liability, damages, or costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

12. Termination

You may stop using Luma PCOS Tracker at any time. You can delete all local data from Settings → Delete all local data, and delete any cloud backup from Settings → Optional cloud sync → Clear cloud copy.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the service if you breach these Terms, with or without notice, without liability to you. Upon termination, your licence to use the service ceases immediately.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Qatar. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Qatar.

If you are a consumer in the EU, you may also have the right to resolve disputes through the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of material changes via the app or by email (if you have provided one). Continued use after the effective date of any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
